A Partnership Grounded in Relationship, Healing, and Community Empowerment

RAO Community Health + Healing Pathways

“Whole Care. Whole People. Whole Communities.”

Whether someone is seeking support for their mental health, physical health, or both—this partnership ensures they’re met with care, dignity, and culturally anchored respect.

Rooted in Relationship

At the heart of this partnership is one unshakable truth: healing begins in relationship.
RAO Community Health and Healing Pathways have come together in shared purpose—to create safe, affirming, and accessible spaces where individuals and families can receive culturally responsive care that honors both their health and their humanity.

This partnership brings together the clinical expertise of Healing Pathways with RAO’s longstanding commitment to community health, HIV advocacy, and outreach—forming a bridge between medical care and emotional well-being.

Accessible & Client-Centered

Clients can access services through:

  • RAO Community Health offices

  • Healing Pathways' virtual care platform or Healing Pathways Offices

  • Coordinated warm handoffs between medical and mental health teams

  • In-person community events, workshops, and pop-up wellness services

We are committed to removing barriers—whether it's cost, stigma, or access—to make healing a right, not a privilege.

What We Provide—Together

Through this collaboration, we offer on-site, referral-based, and telehealth services designed to meet the layered needs of the communities we serve.

Integrated Care Includes:

  • Trauma-informed mental health counseling

  • Support groups for HIV+ and LGBTQIA+ clients

  • Grief, anxiety, and stress management

  • Peer support and wraparound services

  • Nutrition and mind-body wellness resources

  • Community healing events and education

Why It Matters

Communities impacted by health disparities deserve care that sees the whole person.
Together, RAO and Healing Pathways are working to address the historical gaps between medical, emotional, and community wellness—especially for Black, LGBTQIA+, and HIV-affected populations who are often left out of healing conversations.

This partnership:

  • Centers lived experience

  • Honors community wisdom

  • Builds long-term trust and access
